At Valor, we believe the two are connected.

We started Valor because we believed skincare could be more thoughtful, more effective, more intentional, and more aligned with the way we actually live.
That means asking questions.
Do we really need this?
Is there a better ingredient?
Can we use less?
Can we make something that works without creating unnecessary waste?
We don't believe sustainability is a box you check. And we don't believe there's one perfect answer.
It's a practice of staying curious, challenging what has always been done, and continually looking for better ways forward.
Because we only get one body.
And we only get one planet.

Valor was born from a simple question:
What if skincare could be better for us and better for the places we love?
After a personal loss in 2016, I became much more curious about what I was putting on my body. I started questioning the ingredients, the industry, and why so much of skincare seemed designed around appearance rather than how we actually live.
I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I made it.
Valor is skincare for people who move, explore, sweat, play and live outside. Thoughtful formulas. Effective ingredients. Less unnecessary stuff.
Because I believe curiosity leads to better questions.
Better questions lead to better choices.
And better choices can change what we put into the world.

As a 1% for the Planet member, we’re not just skimming the surface. We’ve researched this wonderful do-gooder platform and seen the impact it’s making all over the world. And that includes organizations close to home like Heart of the Lakes.
For a planet that gives us everything, our best is the least we could do.
Some of our best ideas are recycled.
At Valor, we never stop asking how we can make the places we touch a little bit better. Like ripples on a lake, our choices move outward, creating impact far beyond ourselves. That’s why we use upcycled ingredients whenever possible, and why our packaging is recyclable and home compostable. Small actions add up, and together they can shape something greater.
