I love the smell and moisturizing benefits of this lotion bar. I have an excellent sense of smell but it’s difficult to pinpoint a specific ingredient as a top note. It’s fruity, fresh, and earthy all at once. It’s wonderful in the winter for dry skin, especially after a shower and before bed. My skin loves it! A little bit goes a long way.
I discovered Valor last year during a trip to Traverse City. I purchased the powder to foam cleanser and skin food mask. I have mature, sensitive, combination skin. The cleanser gently removed oil and filaments from my nose, reducing the look of my pores.The skin food mask nourished, detoxified and smoothed the texture of my skin, leaving it glowing. I am a customer for life!
Since then I have tried almost all of her products and I highly recommend every one. I just reordered the Duo Peptide Moisturizer, Element Active Serum (I use both at night). The daily moisturizer is fantastic, not greasy, and works great under my tinted sunscreen. I also ordered the night oil to try to see if it helps with my fine lines and texture.
I use the everything balm on my face, neck, chest, and hands at night as well. It is not greasy, it soaks in quickly, is super hydrating and does not make me breakout.
The lip is another great product. I have been using organic lip balms for over 20yrs and this is my new favorite.
The deodorant took two attempts before I exp’d it working. The first time I didn’t warm it up enough before applying and didn’t apply enough. I decided to try again the other morning on a super hot day. I had taken a shower the night before and applied it in the morning. I warmed it in my underarms and applied generously. I was outside and active for most of the day. That evening I did a smell check and I still smelled fresh! It’s a subtle scent and all natural, which I prefer. I also use little seed farms cream deodorant but this is my new go to. I also have the sunscreen and sustain. I have only used them once so far (probably because I have so many of her products) and they are lovely.
Lastly, everything smells amazing. No chemical fragrances to mess with your hormones or give you a headache.
